Venus Raj Instagram – We placed 4th in the OCPC Pickleball Tournament — and for us, that was a huge victory for so many reasons.
My sister-in-law @alytheiacharis and I joined the Beginners Category. Participants from across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao gathered for this 3-day tournament. We knew we weren’t the strongest—many were far more experienced—but God used that to draw us closer to Him.
Our desire was to honor God in everything. So before every game, we prayed for our opponent. Every serve I pray “Lord help us.” Every timeouts we pause to pray for God’s help. On our own, we wouldn’t have made it this far, but we know that the God that we serve and represent is stronger than anyone else.
To our family, our CCF Dipolog family, our coach, and our amazing husbands, thank you for all the love and support.
We are careful to bring back all the glory and honor and praises to our God who gave us the strength to play.🙏🏽
