With nearly 50% of registered pet dogs still unvaccinated against rabies, GCC will deploy 19,000 workers across 15 zones to record details of each pet — including vaccination status, breed, age & owner details.
PFCI highlighted that this initiative will finally help classify pet dog bites vs stray dog bites and give clarity on vaccination coverage.
Responsible pet ownership = Vaccination Registration.
