Amanda Owen Instagram – Old vs. new.

For clarification, both have their place for sure.
Obviously there have been huge advances in many areas of our lives but we must not turn our back on what went before.
There will come a time when we realise that we need to go back to basics and good solid foundations 😉. That new doesn’t necessarily mean better:

The longevity of the packhorse bridge. Still standing strong and solid withstanding the footfall of feet and hooves over the centuries (and even the occasional vehicle now ).
🐎 🌊 🚶 🌊 🐑 🌊 🐄 🌊
One, the result of human endeavour using stone and knowledge, skill and the bare minimum of tools and equipment.

The other, the timber version was assembled off site, flown by helicopter 🚁 and was in place for around a month. 🤔

@reubenowen74 fished it out with the late, great Maurice Fishers digger 🚜
