Amber Tamblyn Instagram – Last night I watched, “Come See Me in the Good Light” about @andreagibson and woke up thick with nostalgia and a deep, profound love for this world of poets I am part of; how complicated, brilliant, and beautiful every single one of them are. How intertwined, how vulnerable, how imperfect, stumbling through life and trying the best we know how to make sense of it on the page. Poets are an answering machine for grief’s midnight calls. Poets are something else, something different, something unapologetically wild. And Andrea was a force. IS a force. Their wife @meganfalley is too. In honor of this extraordinary documentary which came out this weekend on @appletv , I pulled some old photos from the archives, many of which feature Andrea and the poets who knew and loved them. These are from the poetry series I produced in Los Angeles between 2006-2010, “The Drums inside Your Chest.” We were all just kids. And I cherish each and every one of you.
Especially you, Andrea. Especially you.
