A man I admired greatly, Fausto Diaz, passed away. He and his incredible wife, @remedios.7980 came to the US from Cuba as refugees, with little to their name. He dies, having built a great company and even greater family. They contribute to our community and were role models for many. RIP. My condolences to his wife, his daughter, his grandchildren, and great grand-children and the many friends mourning his absence.

NONE of them are illegal aliens because undocumented people do not qualify to enroll through ACA. I went to see the most fabulous show, tonight. It’s called @mexodusmusical. It’s a two-man show, full of energetic music and a poignant story-line about the exodus of Black slaves to Mexico during slavery. I had never heard about the thousands of slaves who found freedom on the southern side of the Border. Feels like the don’t teach that in school. The message is clear. Though we are often pitted against each other, we are in this together. We are stronger together. It’s only playing a few more days. Run to see it! At tge @audibletheater in NY.
