Angela Lewis Instagram – I was at the store getting last minute trappings for a birthday party when this news buckled my knees to the floor. I had to sit for a while. Even though my toddler was incessantly begging for a monster truck. And even though I’m sure she blinked, “Now, Angela”, and then leaned in, “Uhn UHNNN GET UP OFF THAT NASTY FLOOR!!!” I couldn’t get up. Not for a minute.
Thank you for walking with us for a while, Kimberly. You kicked ass and took names. You always managed to crack open a laugh in me that must have been lying dormant for centuries. I will always remember our shares. Always remember our hugs. Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for letting us see you. Cuz how could we not? She could crack a hand fan open with the best of em! She was impossible to miss. Every screen, every stage she graced, she set it ablaze and burned that muthaf*kka down.
