As we let time fly us by,
We keep forgetting that we’re living one big lie.
A series of lies to be precise,
Forgetting to remember all that she has sacrificed.
She was made to sacrifice herself for and to her lover,
She was made to sacrifice herself for her son and daughter.
She was made to promise to give herself up till kingdom come,
She wasn’t allowed to realise that it would include even her own basic freedom.
Each day, empty, hollow slogans of the illusion of equality, we scream and rejoice,
To stand in her own power, to be her own divine true goddess self, to realise that she is freedom, she is love, to understand that not matter what is thrown at her, she’ll always be on ground beyond our reach, to remember this, she wasn’t even given a choice.
As We enjoy freedom as our birth right, we create, we destroy as we please, we should never ever forget again that we are alive this day only because it was her choice.
