I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting, going through the memories of this year…and WHEW!!!! This year has been a year to say the least. It stretched me, tested me, and damn near took me out! I truly felt defeated most days! I was fighting a lot of battles that weren’t even mine to fight. Some days I questioned God… even got mad at Him. But still in all of that… HE still held me!🥹
I learned that two things can be true at the same time. Life can be heavy and beautiful. This year was painful but transformative. I call it my “Butterfly Year.”🦋
I don’t always understand what God is doing, but I trust and know He’s always doing something!
The crazy part is… the people around me noticed the change before I did. And now that I’m still, I can see it. I can feel it. I’m excited again!!!
That light I dimmed is coming back. And baby, I feel it burning inside me!!✨💫🌟
I’m ready!!!! Ready for whatever the Lord has for me in this next season!
I’m grateful for the sunshine on my skin, the strength in my body, and the breath in my lungs. I’m grateful for this body that carried me, for the moments that reminded me I’m alive, and for every person who covered me, prayed for me, held me up, and spoke life into me when I needed it most.🙏🏽❤️🙌🏽
