Beverly Joubert Instagram – A pod of hippos rests along the banks of the Zambezi, their massive bodies clustered in the warmth of the shallows. From above, they seem small—almost lost in the scale of this wilderness—but they are a vital part of the intricate web of life that sustains this ecosystem. Wild places like this are vanishing. As human development continues to stretch further into wildlife habitats, we lose not just land, but entire worlds of connection and balance. If we want future generations to witness scenes like this we must fight to protect what remains.
