Evanna Lynch Instagram – Presenting the cast of the all-female production of Hamlet that was, very sadly, “not to be” 💔 It has been a strange week rehearsing a show that nobody could say would definitely go on. But there was also something refreshingly different about just taking work one day at a time because nothing was taken for granted. I don’t think I’ve ever lived in such a state of presence, well, ever. No planning, no expectations, no idea what’s next and no anxiety. It was so nice to be with a group of women fully listening and developing ideas purely for the sake of self expression and because it was fun to do. I kept thinking of those lads in the titanic movie who played their violins til the bitter end and how there’s no better way to spend the present moment than connecting and exchanging ideas with open-hearted people. I hope this show happens at some point in the future 🙏🏻

I got back home to my apartment tonight and felt deeply sad. It’s weird to go home and close your door with absolutely no knowledge of when the world will call you back out again. There’s usually always something in mind – whether it’s in an hour or a month, a job, a gym appointment, a friend’s birthday – to get back out there for. I don’t think I’ve ever gone home to have absolutely nothing on the calendar for…months. But again, I return to, this is how all the spiritual teachers tell us to live: in the present moment which is the only moment promised. There’s plenty to do in the present and I’m excited to embrace that. One more thought that keeps occurring to me and that I’m constantly amazed by throughout this weird new reality: if there was ever proof needed that we are literally all connected and equal, this is it. The fact that we can infect someone with a virus several continents away is surely testament to the fact that we can also affect people around the world with kindness. If we can touch strangers with diseases then so too do our words, our actions and our everyday choices bear significance and have repercussions we can’t even imagine on people we’ve never met. That is WILD and cool and I shall fix my intent on spreading light and laughs in all my actions. Love y’all, stay safe. 😘💗 | Posted on 19/Mar/2020 06:34:30
