We stopped at the Capitol building, and that’s where I saw my first protest. I didn’t know what the hell they were fighting for but something in me was like FUCK YEAH.. So here’s 13 year old me, unknowingly standing at the edge of everything. my first protest.
And now 30 years later Back on those same Capitol steps. Older and still just as defiant. Full circle with fucking teeth.
