We just spent an amazing day together in Vegas a few weeks ago and you were SO HAPPY!!! The happiest I’ve seen you in YEARS! You had a fresh start and a bright future ahead of you.. my heart broke into pieces when I learned that God called for you to be with him in heaven. I didn’t take that news well at all.. I was down and out for days.. it’s been 10 days and I’m still grieving. I had a hard choice to make when I learned that your going home service was today as I already had plans to attend a close friend’s wedding in Dubai. I struggled with my decision to still go on my trip but my choice was made because ultimately I knew in my heart that you would want me to have this once in a lifetime experience. So as I’m at the wedding right now with loved ones I’m thinking of you and a little sick that I couldn’t be there in Philly to say goodbye. In this very moment I just realized that today is Veterans Day.. Cuz… I just lost my shit mid celebration. I’m in tears as I type this tribute to you. But I know you know my heart is with you and Momma Joanne today as she and the family lays you to rest. I miss you and love you so much.. I will forever cherish our memories from childhood to the last hug and “love you cuz” that we exchanged. I started my day listening to Micheal Jackson picturing you dancing in my head.. we all know how much you loved MJ!! I know you will dance your way through eternity and beyond. 5.. 6 .. 7 …8!!
