Hiba Tawaji Instagram – Yesterday, we lost a true legend, Antoine Kerbaje.
I had the honor of sharing the stage with him twice, and both times he played my father.
The first time was my debut, where I played the role of Roxanna in “The return of the phoenix” and I remember feeling a weight of responsibility standing beside such an iconic actor. Yet, his warmth, humility, and generosity made everything easier.
The second time, I portrayed Mira during the renowned musical “Summer 840” by the great Mansour Rahbani where he played the Youzbachi.
It was a role that would go down in history as one of his most iconic performances, among many others.
His warmth and guidance during both performances made an indelible mark on me.
I’ll forever cherish the moments we shared on stage and the lessons he unknowingly taught me.
His legacy will live on, not just through his work, but through the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him and working with him.
Rest in peace, estez Antoine. Your voice will always resonate & you will always be remembered 🙏🏻🤍
