These quotes are from people I interviewed for my upcoming book about faith – each with their own way of believing, doubting, and belonging. 🤍 you can pre-order the book now! (Only in Norwegian🇳🇴) (ad) (link in bio)🫶🏽 📸: @lineowrenfotografi The quotes in English: «I’m Muslim, and I grew up as a Muslim. Still, it’s not a given that you know everything about the faith you were ‘born into.’» «I’ve experienced doubt, but I’ve also learned that it’s not dangerous to doubt. With patience, you’ll find answers.» «I think that’s how it was between me and God – I just couldn’t grasp it. And eventually, I realized that faith isn’t something you can think your way into.» «I simply can’t help but believe. For me, it’s like looking at the sun and saying it doesn’t exist. It’s there – I feel it so deeply.» «For me, it’s about connection to my people. Questions about God are something I haven’t really reflected much on.» «I believe in a God who can handle questions. Who can handle doubt. And who can handle me, no matter where I am in my faith.» «I see my body as a temple, and I want to treat it that way – give it the best I can.» «I believe in something greater – a force, an energy, love itself – but I don’t feel the need to give it a name.» «When you stop trying to control everything, you realize you already have everything you need.» Which one of these quotes speaks to you the most?😍👇🏽
