A few weeks back we wrapped up the TAHI 🥺 and what a WHenomenal ride it has been to work with this incredible crew, servicing the local creative community of Aotearoa under RNZ. The experiences, people and skills that I took on board during my time here were so rewarding and I’m so grateful for everyone that gave us tautoko, that we got to have through the studio or on the mic and that we worked with in any way! Rain hail or shine, we kept it going! A lot of you probably don’t know, but initially after high school I had been accepted to university to do my communication degree because media was where I thought I was heading. Due to finances and living in Australia, I decided to take some time and be sure I was making the right decision and in that break started to really take MMA seriously. Fast forward to now and it’s a full circle, but seemingly the perfect time to take all that I’ve learned on my athletic haerenga and bring it in to this new path, holding space for others and sharing their stories. Some of the conversations I had on TAHI in the last 14 months really inspired me, deepened my why and kept reassuring me I was exactly where I’m meant to be. So a big mihi nui to everyone! Can’t wait for what’s to come and where things take me next. Yes I’m still thinking about having a few more fights! Not sure what that looks like yet but I’m restructuring and figuring out what comes next. Live if journey! And I really appreciate everyone for continuing to support me no matter what number side quest I’m on, it really doesn’t go unnoticed. Love ya’ll! See you on another mic somewhere else soon 😘✨ Ka kiiiitz for now @tahi_fm @radionewzealand
