I wanted to share an incredible journey my husband Sean and I embarked on with our good friends @jonathan_morris2019 and his beautiful wife Kaitlyn. This trip has been many months in the making, and the experience was everything we dreamed of.
Every 25 years, the Catholic Church celebrates a Jubilee Year. Tens of millions make their journey to renew the hope that has been given to us through our faith.
Jonathan and his team put together visits for a group of us to several Basilicas including St. Peter’s with walks through 4 Holy Doors that are only open during the Jubilee. There were tours of the Colosseum, Catacombs & Ghetto di Roma Palatine Hill, St. Augustin, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. We also attended a Papal blessing with Pope Leo after a Jubilee procession, a visit to the Vatican Museums with a tour of the Sistine Chapel.
I took so many pictures! This is just a small sampling I wanted to share…oh, and by the way, the weather was fantastic! ☀️
At at the end of our pilgrimage Jonathan mentioned he would be doing another faith trip to the Holy land in May 2026 which he told me I could pass along if any of you might be interested. I know I certainly am.
