Jennie Finch Instagram – These girls… my girls. My heart is so full (and exhausted too) after weekends like this. I love pouring into them, seeing their smiles, throwing BP, watching them dig a little deeper, pushing them, challenging them, getting on them, loving on them, and seeing them love each other right back. We’ve had some of these girls since 6U, and what a joy it is to watch them grow and blossom into who they were created to be. I pray they always know just how deeply they are loved.
They competed hard this weekend—some highs, some lows, and so many moments to be proud of as we make this big move up to 14U and full field dimensions. We’ll keep our heads down, keep grinding, keep working, and keep loving each other well.
Today we talked about JOY—how true joy comes from the Lord, and how joy is our strength.
Nehemiah 8:10
“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
God’s joy gives us the strength to face every challenge, no matter what comes our way. It wasn’t the outcome we’d hoped for playing in their first showcase, however many highs to hold on to!
