After wrapping up an intense 8-day trip, including a 15-hour mega marathon stream, I finally took a well-deserved break and made my way to Jilin. I had my sights set on Chang Bai Shan last March, but with the distance from home, it wasn’t possible—so this time, being just two hours away, I couldn’t pass up the chance! Though I’m a total ski beginner, I love pushing myself to learn new skills, so I committed to three days of lessons. It’s been an exhilarating experience—overcoming the fear of speed, training my mind to sync with my body, and discovering what I’m truly capable of. Date night at the gallery 🎨 We stepped Into The Modern — surrounded by Impressionism and expression. Hard to believe the National Gallery is 10 this year, same age as my daughter. It reminded me how art was our everyday when she was younger. The artists of that time had so little, yet they found so much beauty. It made me think about today — the world is bursting with colour, yet somehow our expressions feel muted. Maybe it’s not about what we see, but how we see. And I can’t help but wish our kids had more space in school to do the same — to explore, to imagine, to create without limits. But these days, it’s all about the mastery of subjects through grading. I miss art. It isn’t just about what’s on the wall. It’s about keeping curiosity alive — in all of us. ✨
