Way back in the halcyon days of summer😎, I was feeling particularly cute on my way to get even cuter at the hands of hair whisperer extraordinaire lorrij_texturedbeauty .
So I’m on the 🚊subway🚉, and I offer my seat to someone whose request for another passenger’s seat had devolved into miscommunication and failure. Said seat-wanter took one look at me and promptly responded :
“Is okay. You old.”
LISTEN!!!🤣😂🤣
Baybeeee – when I tell you that was my party piece for a minute!
Then! A mere 2 weeks later, I’m in 🇯🇲Jamaica🇯🇲 minding my, my family’s and my recently ancestored father’s business💔, when the lovely @snieckus calls me up and says (my words, not hers):
“Firecracker Department wants to give you our Trailblazer Award! For being old! And kicking a**!!!”💫

Fast forward to TIFF season, I got to dress up in @martinesdream ‘s love-filled creation💃🏽, was beautified by @luckymakeup 💋& @mainelyinc 👱🏽, and was honoured to accept @firecrackerdept ‘s kind acknowledgment. It’s a cuff, y’all!!! How cool is that??? (I’d love to tag the designer, tho. Help!) *** From @madeyoulookjewellery !!!***
