I did it! The biggest resistance I have had to natural hair is the inability to do it myself. I spent HOURS a week in my mother’s hair salon growing up and for as much as I enjoy the community and chit chat, I resent having to go and get my hair done. I have no idea what this will look like tomorrow, but at least I now know there is something I can do with the wonderful kinky coily hair that God has blessed me with ❤️.
