But this one’s for anyone who reads that and doesn’t feel it.
For the ones who’ve fought tooth and nail through loneliness, rejection, and heartbreak—pushing through every hardship in search of connection, only to be met with more pain around the next corner.
For those—like me—who are doing the work. Who are showing up, making a difference, pouring love into the world from a place that didn’t always feel worthy of it.
And still… sometimes, all that effort is met not with acceptance, but with silence. With disappointment.
Family dynamics are complicated. People don’t show up. The world doesn’t let up. And getting older… well, that’s its own reckoning.
A deeper understanding of self, of dreams realized, of battles fought in silence.
But still—I believe.
I’ve always believed in the dream.
And while the emptiness of being let down by those we love may never fully disappear, I believe in healing. In rewriting the story so our children feel something different.
So cheers—to the ones who radiate light even when they don’t feel it returned.
To the ones who smile through the ache.
To the lonely hearts with the biggest hearts.
I see you. I feel you.
And if nothing else—may this moment remind you that you’re not alone.
