Gma’s white dress was goals and I tried to recreate it with a modern touch. Fun fact- my mom wore the same sari she wore for her pre wedding maticoor night to mine. She was dressed by her best friend (both pictured then and now) who flew over from nyc to help us with all of the events. 🥹 I’ve learnt so much about the rituals /my Guyanese Hindu culture in this process and I feel so blessed to have had the right souls with us to guide the magic.
