Couca, From our little bedroom in Baabdath where we watched the same films on repeat until the VHS tapes gave up, to standing in front of the mirror rehearsing our Oscar speeches, to your biggest dream coming alive on the big screens all over Lebanon tomorrow! You carried this film through the most intense moments of your life ! Filming during covid while you were pregnant, editing while you were nursing (who needs sleep anyway when you have cinema!) And you did it all with more talent, courage, and madness than anyone I know. I am so proud of you, little sis ! And tomorrow, when the lights go down in the cinema, and your name comes up on the big screen, I will remember that little girl shouting “Action!” while clapping her tiny slippers together!
