This year has been a deep return to my music. I have been trusting God and trusting my gifts in a new way and to have this nomination feels so divine.
Shout out to all of the Broadway dancers, singers, and the phenomenal @camilleabrown who choreographed this dynamic celebration of black girl magic and laughter. We worked so hard on this number. Long hours, weekends, all of us moving with one mission to create something that felt like Broadway and modern rap had a beautiful baby. To see it acknowledged is a blessing.
