I’ve been on the move and came online to see #JusticeForOchanya trending. What a terrible ending. A child should never have to beg for safety. #JusticeForOchanya is more than a hashtag, it’s a cry for accountability, reform, and protection for every girl. We owe her justice. We owe our children a safer future. Her voice may have been silenced, but together we’ll make sure her story speaks. What we demand • A full, transparent investigation and prosecution of everyone responsible no one above accountability. • Stronger laws, enforcement, and protections for children, especially girls, in vulnerable situations. • Support and healing for survivors of sexual violence, and education so victims know their rights and perpetrators know they’ll be held to account.
