Sufi Malik Instagram – First look is here! The cropped look on this jacket is exactly what I had envisioned it to be. There’s room to breath and I can layer as much as I want underneath (fall in NY us here) although it feels like winter already 🥶 Each piece is hand embroidered which is an intricacy we take pride in. The pants we went for a more loose fit not exactly from the waist but the silhouette itself. Abstract design at the bottom as an almost hidden detail. You’ll see a lot more of that from the collection as we reveal each look.
Tree-like motifs embroidered through the checkered weave of the jacket, small symbols of where our craft begins. The pants carry a soft ripple motif, echoing how South Asian techniques move through time and across cultures. Roots and ripples, held together in one look.
