Rewatched #MonthofMadhu as i always like to rewatch the films i loved on its release anniversary♥️✨It’s too beautiful in a rewatch✨ . Such a profoundly moving film that flows breezy like a river…The narrative,The cinematography,The free flow editing and amazing scene transitions,The minimal use of music…On top of all that the stunning performances makes this as a super impactful film in all sorts❤️✨Absolutely loved so many beautiful conversations that’s packed in this film🫶 . @swati194 ‘s portrayal of LEKHA will remain as one of the benchmark performances of Indian Cinema✨The whole film is under 140 minutes and she has to convey what all happened in Lekha’s life in the last 20 years within her screentime and the dialogues/conversations about why she fall out of love/stop tolerating in the name of love was kept very minimal yet as audience we get the full impact of why Lekha is firm in her decision♥️One of the most beautifully written and performed character arc☺️And all those tiny tiny nuances that Swathi brought into the film is just mind blowing…Take a scene where she is having her lunch and one of her colleague shows her baby video to another colleague and the way She slightly peeks into the phone screen and there will be a smile on her face for a micro second…These are things that can’t be defined exactly in writing…And i absolutely love how immaculately Swathi lived as LEKHA here🫶 . Though everyone was amazing in the film…Swathi is the SHOWSTEALER because of the way she effortlessly carries Lekha without being so loud or over melodramatic…Her performance is extracted in a restrained but very authentic manner❤️ @srikanth_nagothi ♥️✨ . Now.. IF.. I have your attention. This dress and some others of mine are now up on @handmedown.in A few months ago, I put up a story asking if any of you knew a worthy place where clothes in good condition could find a better home. I got so many replies. But first, I asked Lakshmi, our help and our sparkle to spread the word and had a little exhibition ( not sale ) in my living room where girls from my area came and took what they wanted. I kept some aside because @handmedown.in reached out to me by then and Aishwarya told me her vision. Most of them went from the store I bought them, to this site with a transit of just sitting in my closet.. Maybe cause, I’m no more XS or S and I did not enjoy such social settings where they would’ve been apt, so they went to her with tags and all. Some I bought while travelling, you know that enthusiasm. I hope these clothes find a home where they are loved and not stored away. All said. I’m enjoying my minimalist closet. A lot. So I hope those who get these enjoy themselves too.
