Alejandra Ambrosi Instagram – Today is the final performance of ‘Hilos’ in Mexico City.
Last year I was so thrilled to have the very first international production of my play Fabric (‘Hilos’) open in Mexico City. The show has toured Mexico, had sold out audiences, brilliant reviews and responses, and thanks to the ceaseless wraparound work created by the incredible @hilos.teatro team led by the truly extraordinary @laambrosi , it has had a lasting and ongoing impact in the fight against violence against women.
I remain so proud of this piece – as every writer knows it takes so much to create a play. But then it takes an incredible creative team to believe in something and make it work on stage. All the love and thanks to @laambrosi and @gmatacervantes82 for making this production happen and taking such immense care and respect with it. The entire team has been incredible – stunning set, lighting, costume – @emilio.zurita @damian__mtz @omar_fl @emilioeponine @gis.sandiel and with a beautiful beautiful score from @juanpablovillamusic
