What a lovely afternoon I had yesterday at The Stripey Badger in Grassington! 📚✨
I got to meet Amanda Owen – the Yorkshire Shepherdess herself at today’s book signing, for her new book, “Christmas Tales from the Farm”
She was absolutely wonderful, so warm, down to earth and genuinely lovely with everyone who came to see her
Her girls were just as sweet, full of smiles and chatter
Such a wholesome little moment on a chilly day in the Dales ❤️
I treated myself to a gorgeous hot chocolate whilst I waited, and honestly, I came away feeling like part of the family ❤️
The little bookshop was buzzing, the kids were beaming, and it felt like a reminder of everything I adore about our wild and wonderful county… community, kindness, and the joy of sharing a good tale
Surrounded by shelves of stories, friendly faces, and the magic of a proper Yorkshire welcome, it was one of those moments that warms you right through
A perfect mix of books, good company and true Yorkshire charm
