We know our new MAYOR is on the ballot – I’m personally galvanized by @zohrankmamdani & his vision for an affordable NYC where all New Yorkers are respected.
There are also other important things happening on the ballot this year. Ballot Proposals! Comptroller! Borough Presidents! And more!
Do your research, I like using @softpowervote and @thedownballot which admittedly are more left leaning but that aligns with my politics, world views , and values. (Community care! Affordability! The environment matters! Love your neighbor as yourself! Etc!) I also wanted to get centrists and conservative perspectives, so I researched those too. Ultimately, my values line up with the screenshots I shared- they make sense to me.
All this to say, do your research, so you don’t get overwhelmed & confused when you turn up to vote.
