Brenna D’Amico Instagram – May 25th, 2012, I was 11 years old, my amazing mama and grandpa drove me to Kansas City so I could audition at one of Disney Channel’s open casting calls. Even though I didn’t move forward that day, I just remember having so much fun with all the other kids with a big ole’ dream.
Surprise! In May of 2014 I booked Disney’s Descendants! I will never forget that feeling. I am so eternally grateful for Descendants. Best. Childhood. EVER!
My biggest fans have always been my family and I would be nowhere near where I am now without them. They are my rock, my biggest supporters, my everything. Thank you thank you thank you. I love you I love you I love you.
I’m now 25 years old. I’ve learned so much about this business. If you’re in it, you know how magical it is. But you also know how discouraging it can be. ✨IT’S A MAGICAL, TOUGH BIZ!✨ At times I’ve found myself absolutely overwhelmed with doubt, never feeling enough and unsure. But when my mama recently sent me this video of little 11 year old me, it moved me.
Little me knew. She just knew. And that alone is enough.
Wouldn’t trade this life for anything. Never stop. And remember, sometimes a no isn’t a forever no. You’re doing great♥️
