Charlotte Kemp Muhl Instagram – Honored to perform in the Android Opera in Tokyo last night! @keiichiroshibuy built this intelligently harmonizing Android, designed to resemble his deceased wife. The whole show was a futuristic love letter into the abyss, and there were even Buddhist monks, who graciously didn’t mind when I turned drills and vibrators into musical instruments for a noise jam moment with the orchestra.
Japan is my favorite planet. Insanely busy with work on this trip but definitely going to squeeze in time for the Parasite Museum, Kyūdō archery, tea ceremony lessons, visiting mountain monks and getting Ikura and Uni don!
Staying in Akihabara if anyone recommends anything.
