A glittering blur of sequins catching the light, laughter that doubled us over, pasta twirled slowly under golden lamps, shared playlists while getting ready (and shared perfume and makeup too), martinis set down with a soft clink, late-night jumping on hotel beds, a swirl of sparkles and feathers rushing down velvet hallways, and meals so exquisite we kept reaching for our cameras before our forks.
