Diana Silvers Instagram – Wow. First tour. 28 shows. 25 cities. A handful of new songs I played along the way. That first night in Kansas City, MO, I was so nervous. I was shaking so much I thought I might pass out. I’ll never forget how kind and supportive the audience was, they had to ask me what my name was because I forgot to say it. I closed my eyes and let the music take over. It would only just be the beginning.
Getting to play my songs for you has given me a renewed sense of purpose. Getting to meet and connect with you, signing postcards and exchanging stories, has only deepened that purpose. Watching @jonbatiste and his incredible band night after night was a spiritual practice, and the best music education you could ask for. Learning from not just the best of the best, but the most passionate musicians who simply love to play and have fun with each other. Music transcends. It really does. Getting to go on this journey with @paulspring made it even better. The amount of love, compassion and kindness I have received over these last 2 months, and especially these last 2 weeks, means more to me than I could ever put into words. There is so much more I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. So, for now.. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I love you.
