This was such a wholesome time🥹 It took me back to childhood where around Holi all our neighbour aunties and mom’s friends would come together to make gujiyas. Now? Nobody does that (at least in the cities) because we all either buy them or don’t make so many. As a grown up now I see the value that these type of gatherings can have, they’re so sweet, therapeutic, cathartic and well have lots of gossip too😂 And I think we need to bring back community gujiya making 🥺
Next kya try karu? ☠️ Cooking didn’t give me joy for the longest time but now im finally able to get back in the kitchen without feeling the burden I felt as a little girl. And it doesn’t need to be perfect, any of this! I want to do these activities only for point of trying them, not succeeding, not acing, not making a masterpiece. 🩷 fingers crossed I keep up🫢
