The morning of reunion Scott passed out- lacerated his forehead and needed to get the wound closed. Super long story but I wanted to take him in for a full neuro/cardiac workup-and I almost didn’t make reunion- but he refused. He resisted- made a ton of jokes and kept saying he was OK because of course he wanted me to do the job I came to New York to do which was go to Reunion….so I ordered supplies to close the wound and said I would just jump in reunion when I finished “doctoring” my hubby…
..of course he didn’t want me to worry about him but almost 24 years together 20 years married-my husband has never ever passed out . I’ve barely even seen him sick.
@brittencolemd -my bestie for 30 years -is an anesthesiologist (she keeps people alive for a living) and was in NYC to come with me to #WWHL -so she said “Sis. I got you… go to work, and I’ll watch him, do neuro checks, and alert you if anything is amiss… I got you “
It’s crazy how God always predicts what you will need before you need it🙏🏾
Grateful is not a sufficient word to describe how thankful I am to be able to have a Scott and Britten to navigate this life with ❤️🔥
