Cantautrice e chitarrista, Akyol fonde rock e pop con tradizioni popolari anatoliche e psichedelia turca anni ’70 in un mix esplosivo. Acclamata dal New York Times come “la più grande promessa del rock turco”, costruisce il suo universo musicale combinando radici psichedeliche, testi femministi e sonorità retro-futuriste. . . Under the iconic Tettoia dei Contadini, on Sunday, December 14th, Gaye Su Akyol will bring her dazzling sound to Turin. The event is promoted in collaboration with the City of Turin – Department of Commerce – and Fondazione Torino Musei (MAO, GAM, and Palazzo Madama) for the launch of In palmo di mano, the 2026 Porta Palazzo Calendar by MAO, and is curated by Chiara Lee and freddie Murphy. Singer-songwriter and guitarist, Akyol blends rock and pop with Anatolian folk traditions and ’70s Turkish psychedelia in an explosive mix.
