Gurbani Judge Instagram – Books! 📚
Has anyone read Fourth Wing? Ordered it on a whim since it had the most reviews I’ve seen for a book and well, who doesn’t love dragons? it felt like a YA book for the most part but was such a quick read and the tropes predictable and it was just distracting enough while on set to keep me occupied that before I knew it I was 561 pages down and had to get Iron flame (the next book).🥹😅
I know this book has gotten a lot of people back into reading and I can see why.
I just wish (as I’m sure a lot of readers do) that it had a little more complexity, a little less of ‘his jaw clicked’ and ‘the heat’ lol. While I’m at it, may as well wish for more in depth information about the Dragons too.
(I’ve read over 1000 pages of this story over 2 books so far -I’m hanging on 😅)
Also, I’ve read so much of Jimenez this month which is all down to being on set, having had a death in the family and not wanting to read anything heavy. Just wanted some feel- good fluff to keep Hope alive. Ya know?
‘Yours Truly’ was the best from all her books I’ve read so far. The others didn’t come close to this one (for me).
Lastly, Robert Galbraith has the last book of the Cormoran Strike series out this month – book 8/8 and I CANNOT WAIT!
It’s going to ruin reading for me for months after. (Like it always does) and I am already mourning the series. Le sigh.
