Grateful for this journey that stems much farther than just Jiu Jitsu but it always being the most consistent. For the beginning of my MMA career I really fell for the narrative that I wasn’t a ‘Jiu Jitsu guy’ and after saying that for so many years, travelling the world and training with some incredible coaches and training partners, you actually accidentally become a Jiu Jitsu guy anyway.
Grateful for all that jiu jitsu has taught me and it being my saviour during injuries and my three face surgeries so using this purple as an opportunity to be grateful and reflect on all the incredible gyms and people that have contributed to my progression. If I’ve ever shared the mats or a roll with you, ka nui te mihi, big thank you 🙏🏽 Ossss 💜✨
