I set up some family support groups. I set up a nonprofit to help the indigent, on my 21 month sobriety date My beautiful son passed away from this disease. I stumbled into working into the Treatment space and I never looked back.
I wrote a book I’ve had a documentary in my life on A&E. I’ve been a guest of the state of the union address. I’ve been on damn near every new show you could think of and I could give a shit about any of that. I give a shit about using platforms to carry a message to let people know the disease of addiction and mental health is alive and well.
Help is available that’s what we do. That’s what my life has morphed into. My life has changed dramatically in the 12 years.
I am married to @jennifergimenez who is my best friend, my rock, my world, the bonus, mommy to our beautiful daughter, Mackenzie, who is living with us full-time. My life is full. My life is whole.
Max Tanner and Abbie are rocking and rolling with life. My kids are healthy and happy. They have a sober father. My wife has a sober husband.
My family can rely on me today. My friends in business partners can rely on me. The families I assist can rely on me.
How did this happen cause I live in the solution called RECOVERY. I have a tribe of the most amazing men, and I thank each and every one of you you know who you are.
Don’t believe people can’t change don’t believe cause someone’s walking out of prison. They’re gonna go back to the way they used to live because that’s not the case.
If you got a heartbeat, you gotta hope stop being a judgment prick and if you want to get to know somebody pick up the phone and talk to them.
We need more communication. We need less hate. We need more love we need more sobriety.
I love my life because I fucking say so. You want what I have you do what I do.
