I’m so fucking in to turning 40. Truly. Fuck the patriarchy and the film industry for making us ladies feel like we’re expired by this age, they’re just scared cuz by this age we’re wiser, sexier, stronger and don’t give a fuck and that’s a powerful combo.
Last year at this time I was about to pop a baby out of my belly and I forgot to tell everyone here that I won this very fancy award called the Jean Marc Vallée discovery award for my directing of Seeds.
Pretty fucking cool and what an honour.

Anyways this year I presented a few awards on my birthday for the DGC and I hung with my sweet little family and some friends.
So stoked for the next 40 years and beyond.
