Kenisha “Miami Tip” Myree Instagram – Let me share my experience at the Washington DC book signing! Everything that could go wrong that day did. I often feel anxious about these events, and when I missed my flight due to a gate change, I thought about staying home. But I stayed positive, believing there was a reason. After getting on the next flight, we sat for three hours due to various issues. While others complained, I focused on not letting negativity overwhelm me. I knew I didn’t have the mental capacity to think negative because I would have just said “you know what forget this I’m going home and going to work” The strip club has always been my safe space because I know I can make money there. So when I try to step out my comfort zone and things don’t go right I’ll be quick to quit and go to work! So i had to alter my mindset only thinking “it must be a reason God so I’ll relax” I arrived just as the signing started, had to rush to get ready, and realized I forgot some essentials. After everything that went wrong that day and with all my anxiety I was finally about to break down but called my mom, who immediately came to my rescue with everything I needed. When I tell ya’ll I was in the bathroom about to have a major meltdown! I had to put some Sarah jakes on!! I was just about to let it all out when my mom knocked on the door. She had seen first hand what I endured that whole day she also seen how I was taking everything to the chin. She came in and got my head back in the game!! Like “ Girl ain’t no time to be moping around THE SHOW MUST GO ON!” This experience taught me that challenges will arise, especially in unfamiliar situations, but with faith, help will come when you need it most. God will always send rescue!
