It was hard for me to choose which would be the first photo. I love the cleanness of the second photo in the Oltrarno district, but it also took me a good 10 minutes to capture this lovely man without appearing obvious. He really spiked my curiosity. I rerouted the whole second half of my trip to get a taste of more here. From morning to night, I walked my knees into a cobblestoned mess that I’m still cleaning up after now that I’ve been back. I don’t regret a thing. I reached for so much while I was here and it gave every moment back to me in full through flavor, communication, art, people and details.
The brilliant thing about film is you don’t have to do a thing at all for it all to burst on through. You barely have to touch photos and even then, sometimes it even looks like a cheap perfect version of the original. I LOVE FIRENZE AND ITS COLORS
