Christmas can often feel like overstimulation nation with school hols and so many activities, plus the pressure to make everything feel perfect and complete. So this year, I let the kids decorate the tree, let them make our brunch board, and while nobody listened when I read the Bible… they all stayed quiet to hear their dad read it 🤍
In other news, everyone got a little better at skiing, and in spite of the sheer chaos I’m reminded that with Jesus, everything feels sweeter, better, and so much more peaceful. Yet, I feel I’m finally taking in the real meaning of Christmas — back at home, in a small moment of calm 😆
I hope 2026 brings many more moments like this.
