Mayra Farret Instagram – Christmas has always been about family for us and we have hosted it at our home for as long as I can remember.

This year, even though we couldn’t all be together at the same time, we made the decision to travel and split the holidays into two trips so we could see as much of our family as possible.

Our first stop was Chicago, and it was absolutely magical. No wonder so many iconic Christmas movies were filmed here – Home Alone, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and Bad Moms. The city truly feels like a holiday movie come to life.

We didn’t get snow, but the weather was perfect, the city was beautiful, and I honestly wouldn’t mind making Chicago a Christmas tradition every year 🎄

Grateful for our family and creating memories wherever we are.

La Navidad siempre ha sido sobre la familia para nosotros y normalmente siempre la celebramos en la casa. 🤍

Este año, aunque no todos pudimos estar juntos al mismo tiempo, decidimos viajar y dividir las fiestas en dos viajes para poder ver a la mayor parte de nuestra familia.

No es casualidad que tantas películas navideñas icónicas se hayan filmado aquí — Home Alone, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation y Bad Moms.

La ciudad realmente se siente como una película navideña hecha realidad.

No nos tocó nieve, pero el clima fue perfecto, la ciudad estaba hermosa y, sinceramente, no me molestaría que Chicago se convirtiera en una tradición navideña cada año 🎄
