If I’m being totally honest, I was hoping for a little more today, but it takes guts to chase after the Olympic Trials standard (2:37)… especially less than 8 months postpartum. Sometimes when we swing for the fences, it ends up being a double to left, and that’s how I would describe today’s race. But hey! It’s hard to be upset with the best you’ve ever been. I’m filled with gratitude for this sport and the people it has brought into my life. Thank you to everyone who reached out. You made me feel like a rockstar all day. Thank you to @forallmothersorg. The grant I received allowed me to hire childcare in order to train and chase after my dream. We are not done yet!!!!
