MEGUMI Instagram – パリで開催のKINOTAYO現代日本映画祭のオープニングに参加してきました。
今年で19回目になるこちらの映画祭は、
日本での公開から18ヶ月以内、フランスで公開をされていない映画を対象に行われています。
受賞作には、KIYOTAYOのスタッフさんが、
フランスの字幕を付けてくれ、フランスの配給会社をオーガナイズ。
正に日本とフランスの映画の架け橋になってくれています。
このような活動を個人が立ち上げられたチームで19年間もやられているのは本当に凄いですよね！
皆さん映画と日本文化愛に溢れていました🥹

I went go to the opening of the KINOTAYO Contemporary Japanese Film Festival in Paris.
Now in its 19th year, this festival is open to films that have not yet been released in France within 18 months of their Japanese release.
KINOTAYO staff provided French subtitles for the award-winning films and organized French distribution companies.
They truly serve as a bridge between Japanese and French cinema.
It’s truly amazing that a team founded by an individual has been doing this for 19 years!
Everyone was filled with a love for film and Japanese culture.
I was incredibly thrilled to be able to participate!
