🌱 This particular morning practice was captured for @globalteahut ‘s new community series: Tea Before Ten. I want to share with you… It was a real shock to see these images the other day. At the time they were made it was the day after valentine’s and Tehya, my beloved dog, had just passed on February 11th. Everything was feeling very tender. Juliet very generously offered to reschedule but at this point I had already done so countless times – far beyond what would be considered polite and appropriate in a tea space. This is practice after all, is it not? Show up. Take refuge. Empty. Be filled. I covered myself in Alex’s shawl, slipped away and arrived. Tehya’s energy still felt very present in the space. An echo is a funny thing. A vibration still traveling even after the source has ceased… 🎐 Imagine my surprise to see these images 7 months later – on what would have been Alex’s 37th birthday! Holy intersections abound. 🎐 Thank you @julietgrace for the space you held for practice that day. I’m grateful for these reflections that you captured so beautifully. They remind me of how potent the solace is inside these bowls. and of course my deepest bow and thanks to @globalteahut for the opportunity to share and be in community. 💗
