Mira Sethi Instagram – we took some author photos. we worked on the book. we walked the glistening streets of london with people we love. we went round a friend’s table with words of gratitude, and, like a charge, our words brought us together; we went to berlin with our besties and ate bougie vegetables (we have a hard time eating vegetables); we told our editor to be brutal with us and our editor said she’d be honest but not brutal (oh!); we adored the loneliness of sonia and sunny; we arrived in smoggy lahore, and observed, with a tense expression, the texture of the morning light as we drove from the airport to the house. we have been trying to write about this damn light for months.
