Natasha Khan Instagram – One of the most memorable parts of creating the visual score for The Dream of Delphi, were the rehearsals surrounding the movement sequences. These sessions were vital in discovering some of the most vulnerable, authentic moments of the film – the places where truth and emotion intertwined. We played, created, and reworked, allowing the movement to evolve organically through structured improvisation. Always exploring and curious about what we would uncover.
At the heart of The Midwives Have Left is a desire to embody the care midwives bring to the birth space – the acts of washing, brushing the mother’s hair, and offering gentle, sustaining attention. To celebrate the power of quiet ritual and sisterhood.
Her First Morning follows the shifting emotions within a relationship, moving from frustration to joy, tenderness to playfulness. It traces how love stretches, softens, and reshapes itself in the face of change.
Christmas Day symbolises the relationship after a child’s birth, one partner supports while the other sustains new life, and together they find a new closeness. It marks the shift from lovers to caregivers and the quiet evolution of a bond shaped by new life.
